In latest news from Uttatakhand, in view of the scheduled visit of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to Pithoragarh on January 16, the district administration has taken all steps to ensure that things are smooth during the visit. Informing this, the district magistrate Rina Joshi said that she had chaired a meeting on the CM’s visit with the senior district administration officials and directed them to take all necessary steps for the upcoming CM’s visit. Besides, she had conducted on-site visit of the places included in the CM’s itinerary in the district, she said. Aside from conducting a roadshow, the CM is scheduled to launch and lay foundation stone of a string of development projects involving the district. The DM further said that an exhibition would be held and the beneficiaries of several government welfare projects would receive cheques during the visit. Plus, the persons who have done exceptional works in their fields would be felicitated.
