CM virtually inaugurates Mostamanu Festival, launches several projects

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually inaugurated the historic Mostamanu Festival on Thursday and unveiled development projects worth crores of rupees which cover key sectors including health, education, drinking water, tourism and infrastructure. Major works announced include the beautification of Mostamanu and Haat Kalika temple complexes; construction of modern parking near three major temples; a new medical college in Pithoragarh with a critical care block; new bus stations in Askot, Gangolihat, and Dharchula; rural road projects under PMGSY and modernisation of Naini Saini Airport.

Addressing the gathering, Dhami described the festival as a symbol of faith, cultural heritage and social unity. He also urged people to adopt Swadeshi to strengthen the nation while stating that

the initiatives unveiled would boost connectivity, healthcare and tourism, paving the way for a self-reliant and prosperous Pithoragarh.
