CM to inaugurate 13 long- range emergency sirens, unveil beautified Ghantaghar

The chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate 13 modern long- range emergency sirens installed at various places across Dehradun city by the district administration for emergency situations from Dalanwala police station on Saturday. These sirens, installed in police stations, would transmit sound up to a distance of eight to 16 km. The district administration sources said that these sirens would alert people in advance before a disaster strikes so that they can move to safe places.
Later on the same day, he would unveil the beautification works at the iconic Ghantaghar undertaken as part of the Smart City project. This aside, the CM will inaugurate four modern Hilans canteens at Dehradun Collectorate, Coronation Hospital, Guchhupani and ISBT.
The district magistrate, Savin Bansal and senior superintendent of police, Ajai Singh inspected the programme venues at Dalanwala police station and Ghantaghar on Friday and took stock of the preparations.
