The Soldier Welfare minister Ganesh Joshi has directed the officers of the department to complete the construction of Sainya Dham in Guniyalgaon, Dehradun before February 2024. The minister visited the under construction Sainya Dham on Saturday and inspected the activities. He said that 75 per cent work of Sainya Dham is complete and it will be opened for the general public before February 2024. The minister said that many Jawans of Uttarakhand have attained martyrdom after the Saheed Samman Yatra taken out this year. He directed the officers of the department to prepare a data of those who got martyred after the Yatra so that their names also gets displayed with honour in the Sainya Dham.
The director of the Soldier Welfare department brigadier (retd) Amrit Lal, deputy director colonel (retd) MS Jodha and others accompanied the minister.
