Congress leaders discuss Joshimath situation with CM

A delegation of Uttarakhand Congress led by Badrinath MLA Rajendra Bhandari met chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Saturday and discussed the situation in Joshimath city affected by land subsidence. The Congress leaders expressed deep concern on the situation in Joshimath. Former chief minister Harish Rawat who was part of the delegation suggested that Joshimath should remain in the name of the new township since people are deeply connected with the ancient City. He said that the process of building the prefabricated structures should be expedited in Joshimath.
The delegation also expressed deep concern on paper leak cases
The leader of opposition in assembly Yashpal Arya, former Pradesh Congress committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh, deputy leader of Congress Legislature Party ( CLP) Bhuwan Kapdi, vice president organization Mathura Dutt Joshi, Garima Dasauni and others were in the delegation.
