Congress should first worry about saving itself, says BJP

Rejecting the claims made by the Congress State in-charge Kumari Selja, the Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that it should first try to save itself. Selja had claimed at an event on Saturday that many BJP leaders are likely to join the Congress in the coming days. Reacting to this, the BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that instead of making claims about people from other parties joining it, the Congress should first focus its efforts on saving itself. “The Congress State in-charge was handling Uttarakhand from Delhi as if by remote control for four years and has now suddenly thought of touring the State.  Her tour has created a major commotion within her party in the State,” he said.

Chauhan further said that the people of Uttarakhand are wise. Anybody in any political party who is concerned about the welfare of Uttarakhand and its people has already left other parties and joined the BJP. It is a fact that good people cannot remain in the Congress for long, so the question of leaders from other parties joining it is out of the question, Chauhan said.
