The state health department reported only 19 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) and 14 recoveries from the disease in Uttarakhand on Saturday. No death from the disease was reported in the state on the day.
The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,42,894 while a total of 3,29,136 patients have recovered from the disease so far. In the state, 7380 people have lost their lives to Covid -19 till date. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 95.99 while the sample positivity rate on Saturday was 0.11 per cent.
The state health department reported six new patients of Covid -19 from Dehradun, three each from Haridwar and Nainital, two each from Pauri and Rudraprayag, and one each from Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar on Saturday. No new cases were reported from Almora, Chamoli, Champawat and Uttarkashi on the day.
The state now has 326 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 121 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Pauri has 37 active cases.
In the ongoing vaccination drive 1,12084 people were vaccinated in 994 sessions in the state on Saturday.
