Covid-curfew extended by one more week

The State government has yet again extended the Covid-curfew in the state by one week with more relaxations. According to the guidelines issued by chief secretary Om Prakash, the Covid curfew will be effective till 6 AM on July 6.
However, as part of relaxations provided in this phase of the Covid curfew, the market will remain open from 8 AM to 7 PM on June 29, 30 and July 1, 2, 3 and 5. The shops selling vegetables-fruits, dairies, sweet shops and florists will be allowed to open daily from 8 AM to 7 PM. All the gymnasiums will be allowed to open at 50 per cent capacity while observing Covid protocols.
Further, all coaching institutes will be allowed to teach students aged above 18 years at 50 per cent capacity while observing Covid protocols. Areas under the forest department including tiger reserves and zoos will be opened with Covid protocols for tourism, forest management and maintenance. The department will issue standard operating procedures (SOPs) for this. The rest of the relaxations and restrictions will remain effective as in the past phases of the Covid curfew.
