Chief secretary Anand Bardhan conducted a site inspection on Wednesday of various construction projects underway as part of the Badrinath master plan at Badrinath Dham. Upon arriving at the Dham, he was welcomed by district magistrate Gaurav Kumar and Teerth Purohits.

CS offered prayers and assessed the progress of several key projects, including the Arrival Plaza, Civic Amenity Centre, Badrish and Sheshnetra Lake, River front and Hospital building. During the inspection, he emphasised the importance of completing all construction work within the established timeframe and urged officials to prioritise the quality of the work.

He said that expert opinions are crucial for construction in areas of the riverfront where natural streams are present. A national-level expert team is currently conducting a study, and based on their findings, the implementing agency has been directed to complete work on the riverfront sections affected by these streams and to expedite progress at other locations as well. CS stated that most of the work has been completed, with the exception of the riverfront. He also instructed the implementing agencies to accelerate the construction of the hospital building and the Arrival Plaza.
