PM Modi likely to inaugurate Sainnya Dham on Nov 9

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the Sainnya Dham located in Guniyal Gaon here on the occasion of the State Foundation Day on November 9. In view of the expected visit of the PM, the Sainik Kalyan minister Ganesh Joshi visited the under construction Sainnya Dham on Wednesday. In the visit Joshi inspected the progress of the construction works and directed the officers to ensure that the works get completed on time without compromising the quality.

Interacting with the mediapersons Joshi said that the inauguration of the Sainnya Dham is also in the itinerary of the expected visit of the Prime Minister on November 9.

He said that the Sainnya Dham is the dream project of the State government which is based on the idea of PM Modi and is dedicated to the spirit of Uttarakhand which is a Veer Bhoomi.

The minister added that the sacred soil from the courtyards of 1,734 martyrs of the State and the water from the pious rivers have been added in the Dham which makes the place important from the spiritual and cultural point of view. He expressed confidence that the people will visit the Sainnya Dhams to pay their respects to the martyrs like the famous Char Dhams. He said that the Sainnya Dham is constructed after study of war memorials in different parts of the country and effort has been made to make it best.

Joshi said that the Sainnya Dham will have a museum and theatre with arrangement of sound and light show.

The secretary Deependra Chaudhary, the general officer commanding of the Uttarakhand Sub Area major general MPS Gill and other senior officers of Army and State administration accompanied the minister.
