Cong demands CBI probe in MBBS admission scam

The Congress party has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation probe in the fraudulent admission process for candidates who passed the NEET examination in Uttarakhand. Interacting with the media at the Congress Bhawan on Tuesday, the vice president of State unit, Suryakant Dhasmana said that the scam involving various categories of reservation benefits under the Uttarakhand domicile quota is an extension of the NEET paper leak.
He said that though the State Health minister Subodh Uniyal has ordered an investigation in the case, the issue is very serious as it involves the future of thousands of students of the State. Dhasmana demanded that the government should immediately order a CBI probe in the case.
The chief spokesperson Garima Mahara Dasauni was also present in the Press conference.
