Dehradun District Cooperative Bank Ltd holds 80th AGM

The 80th annual general meeting of the Dehradun District Cooperative Bank Limited was held here on Saturday marked by the presence of several senior officers of the bank, including the chairman of the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank Limited Dan Singh Rawat.  

Addressing the gathering, the president of the bank Amit Chauhan said that   the 80th AGM  was charged with a new resolution and energy to take the cooperative movement forward developmentally. Recounting the evolution of the cooperative bank, he said that it was an inspiring tale of selfless service and sacrifice of countless cooperative workers. He stressed that the cooperative bank is not meant to earn profit but to raise the living standard of the unprivileged people living in the remotest villages.  

Notably, the gross profit of the District Cooperative Bank Ltd Dehradun for the financial year 2022-23 stands at Rs 1391.80 lakh and the net profit at Rs 476.63 lakh.  Chauhan said that in FY 2022-23, the total deposits stand at Rs 120197.63 lakh and the loan taken is Rs 58515.10 lakh. The total demand for agricultural loan in 2022-23 is Rs 11216.25 lakh and recovery is Rs 9359.96 lakh, he informed and added that in the same period, the gross NPA amount was Rs 6219.16 lakh and the net NPA amount was Rs 3131.79 lakh while the figures for FY 2021-22 stood at Rs 7264.52 lakh and Rs 4975.90 lakh respectively.
