Dehradun region ranked at 17th position in CBSE class XII result

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the board exam results on Wednesday, in which a total of 81.42 per cent students passed class XII in the Dehradun region. 

This year in the Dehradun region, 97,012 students appeared in the class XII examination out of which 54,172 were boys who appeared for the examination and 42,840 were girls. 

Apart from this, 78,984 students passed the class XII examination, out of which 42,210 were boys and 36,774 were girls. 

Additionally, in the total passing percentage in the said examination in Dehradun region, out of 81.42 per cent, 77.92 per cent were boys and 85.84 per cent were girls. With this, this year Dehradun region ranked 17th position among 22 regions of the country.

Notably, in the class XII CBSE examinations, the number of schools in Dehradun region included 1,285 and centres for the said examination were 480.

Commenting on the result, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all students who successfully passed the CBSE class XII examination and wished them a bright future. He emphasised that this achievement reflects their hard work, discipline and unwavering self-confidence. “We are confident that all of you will reach new heights in life through your knowledge, talent and determination, and will make significant contributions to the development of our country and society,” the CM stated. He also encouraged students whose results did not meet their expectations, advising them not to be disheartened. “Every challenge in life teaches us something new and inspires us to move forward. Keep striving with continuous effort, self-confidence and positive thinking,” he added.
