Deploy rapid response teams in areas affected by tiger attacks: Arya

The leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha Yashpal Arya has said that the administration should deploy rapid response teams in the areas affected by the attacks of Tiger on human population. He said that the incidents of Tiger attacks in different parts of the State are increasing alarmingly. Arya said that it is unfortunate that the government and administration are showing no sensitivity to deal with the menace. He said that an atmosphere of fear prevails in different parts of the State due to lurking predators. The students are scared to go to their schools and the women are facing death almost daily.
He demanded that the government should order increased patrolling in the sensitive areas and rapid response teams should be deployed in the affected areas. Arya said that rapid response teams should be deployed in the affected areas. He said that the government should provide security equipment to the villagers and start an awareness campaign.
The LoP said that adequate compensation should be provided to the families who have lost their near and dear ones. He said that the voice of local people should be included in the policy making process.
