Shri Venkateshwara University hosted a special screening of the film “Godaan” on Thursday in cooperation with Pt Deendayal Gaushala Sansthan, Mathura and Janta Films Pvt Ltd, Mumbai. The university sources said that it had been organised for the young generation of the country on cow rearing, conservation and the religious and spiritual importance of mother cow in India since ancient times, along with the medicinal importance of cow milk, cow urine and cow dung.
Among those present during the screening were the chairman of the Venkateshwara group of institutions, Sudhir Giri and pro- chancellor Rajeev Tyagi.
