Dhami govt effects minor reshuffle in bureaucracy

In a minor reshuffle on Thursday, the State government has made a change in responsibilities of five IAS officers. The charge of project director Namami Gange has been taken away from Ranvir Singh Chauhan who will continue to hold the position of secretary Sugarcane, Sugar, State Estates department and director general Agriculture and Horticulture.

The charge of vice president District Development Authority Tehri has been handed over to district magistrate Tehri and director rehabilitation Tehri Dam Project Nitika Khandelwal.

 Additional secretary Urban Development department, director Urban Development directorate and director ITDA Gaurav Kumar has been assigned additional responsibility of additional secretary Information Technology, Suraj and Science and Technology and director HILTRON. The charge of the project director Namami Gange is given to managing director GMVN and mission director Jal Jivan Mission Vishal Mishra. Similarly additional secretary Drinking Water and Home Apoorva Pandey has been given additional responsibility of director Swajal.

 The transfers on Thursday come about a week after a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy on June 19 when 32 IAS, 24 PCS and one secretariat service officer were transferred.
