Dhami in Delhi to attend swearing in ceremony of new Govt

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached New Delhi on Thursday. He is expected to attend the swearing in ceremony of the Narendra Modi led NDA government. Dhami met the newly elected MP from Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar constituency Ajay Bhatt in Uttarakhand Sadan on Thursday. The CM congratulated Bhatt for his mega victory from Nainital– Udham Singh Nagar constituency. In the elections, Bhatt registered biggest victory in the State by defeating his Congress rival Prakash Joshi by a margin of 3,34,558 votes.
Dhami is likely to accompany PM Modi and other leaders of BJP and NDA on Friday when they will meet President Droupadi Murmu to register a formal claim to form the new government.
It is learnt that the CM will remain in Delhi till the new government is formed. He will also attend the swearing in ceremony of PM Modi and his cabinet which is expected to be held on June 9.
Meanwhile all the five newly elected MPs from Uttarakhand are also camping in New Delhi. The names of former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and national spokesman of BJP Anil Baluni are making rounds in political circles for becoming a minister in the new cabinet of PM Modi. The former minister of State and Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar MP, Ajay Bhatt and Almora MP Ajay Tamta are also in the race for a place in the new cabinet of PM Modi.
