In latest news from Doon, the district magistrate Savin Bansal approved all the five proposals for Premnagar Hospital, including those pertaining to Operation Theatre and Paediatric ICU, forwarded for his consideration. Also, he allotted funds for implementing the proposals. Sources said that a canteen is coming up in the hospital premises which would cater to the needs of both the patients and those who come with them. Besides, the Electric Load of the hospital is being increased from the present 50 KW to 100 KW to operationalise the newly developed Paediatric ICU. This aside, a guard room will be set up inside the facility’s premises to ensure security of the staff, including doctors and nurses.
