The district magistrate, Prashant Arya made a detailed assessment of the progress of all ongoing construction and repair works in the district while chairing a meeting with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and BRIDCUL among others on Friday. He stressed on all roads being made pothole free in a week.
DM expressed displeasure over the delay in the Gyanshu-Sald-Uparkot road construction work.
Keeping in mind the upcoming Chaurangi Devta fair to be held in the Bhetiara-Dikhauli area of the district, he directed the PMGSY officials to smoothen roads before the fair.
