District magistrate, Uttarkashi, Prashant Arya conducted an unannounced inspection of the ongoing training for the three-tier Panchayat elections at the Government Post- Graduate College here on Thursday. During the visit, he interacted with the presiding and polling officers and reviewed the quality of training, procedural understanding and availability of election materials. He said that all the directives issued by the Election Commission must be conveyed to those who were receiving training. He urged them to immediately report any doubts or need for clarification to their seniors during the training sessions.
He directed the members of the polling teams to reach their assigned places in time and discharge duties without fear or favour.
