Doon Dare Devils wins Manjila Memorial cricket tournament

Doon Dare Devils lifted the second Manjul Singh Manjila memorial Inter Cricket Competition organised by the Uttaranchal Press Club on Monday. In the final match played at the Maharana Pratap Sports College, the Doon Dare Devils (DDD) defeated Doon Super Kings (DSK) by six wickets. 

DSK won the toss and elected to bat. With contributions from Rupesh (33 runs) and Deepak Purohit (30 runs) it made 142 runs in 19.1 overs. From DDD, Manoj Jayada took four wickets.

 In response, DDD made 146 runs at the loss of four wickets in 15.4 overs . Thakur Singh Negi played a stellar innings of 43 while Manbar Rawat and Arvind Rawat made 26 and 24 runs respectively.

The award of the Man of the Match was presented to Arvind Singh Rawat for his good performance with both bat and ball. Soban Singh Gusain was adjudged man of the series while the award of best bowler was presented to Ajay Rana. 

The winners were awarded by chief guest and patron of Cricket Association of Uttarakhand PK Verma, Congress leader Garima Dasauni and Manoj Kumar Jha.
