A man was killed after a pickup vehicle he was driving fell into a 200 metre deep gorge near Godiya Dhar on Kapkot Karmi motorway in Bagehswar district on Sunday. According to the information received from the police, Gaurav was driving the pickup number UK 04 CB 5057 while transporting material for shuttering work.
During the afternoon, the vehicle collided with a roadside barrier and fell down the mountainside. The villagers informed the police about the accident. The police team which reached the site of the accident rescued the injured driver and transported him to a hospital in Kapkot where he later died during treatment.
