The District Sports Office (DSO), Dehradun, will organise district-level sports competitions from June 20 to 23, 2026, to celebrate the International Olympic Day. The day is celebrated on June 23. According to officials, the competitions will begin daily at 8 AM from June 20 to 23. The event will feature five competitions.
Football competitions will be held for Under-15 boys and girls and in the open category at Pavilion Ground, Dehradun. Badminton competitions for mini boys and girls and sub-junior boys and girls will be organised at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Parade Ground. Officials further informed that judo competitions for mini and sub-junior boys and girls will also be held at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
Handball competitions for Under-16 boys and girls will be organised at Pavilion Ground. Hockey competitions for Under-15 boys and girls will also be held at Pavilion Ground. Officials added that entry for the said competitions is free and it is mandatory for players to submit their Aadhaar card and birth certificate to participate.
