Taking note of the dwindling number of students in the government-run schools, the State government has decided to set up English medium schools equipped with all modern educational facilities in each block across the State. Stating this, the State Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the decision had been taken after he had received inputs from his department on the declining number of students in the government-run schools.
As per the report prepared by the department, most of the guardians had favoured their children’s education in English medium schools. “On receipt of this report, we have decided to convert some selected schools in every block of the State into English medium ones,” Rawat added.
