The education department has requested the Election Commission (EC) of India to give its permission to restart the stalled process of recruitment of the Block Resource Person (BRP) and Cluster Resource Person (CRP). In a letter the project director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan has asked the EC to give relaxation in the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for resuming the recruitment process of BRP and CRP in the State.
The education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the State government is making efforts to improve educational activities in the State and for this it had decided to fill the vacant posts of BRP and CRP in the education department. He said that 285 BRP and 670 CRP would be recruited on outsource. Rawat said that the department had started the process of recruitment in these posts but it got affected by the MCC imposed in the State in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
He added that apart from BRP and CRP, 2500 vacant posts of class IV workers in the department will also be filled by outsourcing agency.
