Education helps tide over challenges, says Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that there is no alternative to hard work in life and one can tide over all the challenges with the help of education. The CM was addressing a ceremony organised to felicitate the meritorious students of class X and XII here on Friday. He said that education should be succinct like devotion. Congratulating the students for their performance in the examinations, the CM said that in order to reach pinnacle their objective should be clear. He said that there is no shortcut to success and added that examinations in life appear not always in the form of question papers. He exhorted the students to be leaders in whatever field they chose in life.
Dhami said that the social and economic development of a country depends on the quality of education being imparted to the students. He said that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is designed to provide new dimensions to the school and college education in the country. Dhami opined that skill development courses at school level will make the youth skilled and the NEP-2020 will provide vocational education to the students. The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that efforts are going on at a fast pace for bringing qualitative improvement in the field of education in the State. He said that five universities of the State are among the top ranking universities of the State. Rawat said that for the first time the meritorious students are being honoured in the State on the initiative of CM Dhami. He added that the state government is committed to the bright future of the students.
