A time management expert from the American Chemical Society Krishna Raghav Chaturvedi provided online training to the students and teachers of the Science Faculty of Kumaun University on the importance of time management. The vice- chancellor Prof Diwan Singh Rawat and Science Faculty head Prof Chitra Pandey were among those present.
Chaturvedi said that the importance of time management for students, researchers and teachers could hardly be over-emphasised while laying special emphasis on the four major components- setting goal, setting priorities, reducing time wastage and effective execution of work. “Time management is not limited to making a to-do list but a disciplined approach that promotes smart work and productivity,” he added. He also gave practical tips to the participants.
The VC said that time management is the key to success not just in academic life but in professional life, too.
