Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami over phone on Tuesday and inquired about the loss of life and property by heavy rains. He also sought information about the relief and rescue operations in different parts of the state.
The PM assured Dhami that every possible help would be extended to the state. Dhami told the PM that the state administration is alert and relief and rescue operations are going on.
