Aryan’s parents Nirnay Murthy and Lalrinmawii Hmar are reaching out to the community via Impact Guru, sharing their son’s battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 2.
A year ago, Aryan, a bright-eyed toddler, began showing signs of developmental delay. After a series of consultations and tests, the diagnosis was confirmed as SMA type 2, a condition that gradually weakens Aryan’s muscles and leaves him vulnerable to respiratory failure.
Amidst this challenging situation, a beacon of hope emerged in the form of ZOLGENSMA, a revolutionary treatment that could significantly improve Aryan’s quality of life. However, the cost of this treatment is a staggering INR 16.5 crore, a sum beyond the reach of most families.
The family is now turning to the community, seeking support to help secure this life-saving treatment for Aryan. They believe in the power of collective action and the kindness of individuals. Any contribution, regardless of its size, will bring them closer to their goal.
