Sanjay Orthopaedic, Spine and Maternity Centre along with SHEWA Society organised a free polio, cerebral palsy, gynaecological consultation camp and a webinar to mark World Health Day on Wednesday. The centre had offered a 25-50 per cent discount on all polio surgeries for those who attended the camp.
During the free health counselling camp orthopaedic and spine surgeon Dr Gaurav Sanjay showed the results of old patients treated in the centre to the patients and said that polio patients have a better quality of life after the operation. Senior orthopaedic and spine surgeon, and Padma Shri awardee Dr BK S Sanjay said that surgeries in polio and cerebral palsy patients should be done as early as possible. During the webinar, gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Sujata Sanjay said that women are the backbone of the families, hence society and nation should give due importance to women’s health.
