Additional chief secretary (ACS) Radha Raturi inaugurated pathology samples collection centre in the dispensary of the State secretariat on Wednesday. A total of 270 types of tests including blood, urine, CBC, blood sugar, kidney, liver, cholesterol and thyroid will be done free of cost in the centre. Speaking on the occasion, Raturi said that recently the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had directed for setting up the sample collection centres in the dispensary of the State secretariat.
She said that the centre will prove beneficial for the employees and officers of the State secretariat. Raturi said that the State government has given preference to welfare of employees and is dedicated for strengthening the health services.
The additional secretary health Amandeep Kaur, director general (DG) state health services Dr Vinita Shah and others attended the programme.
