In line with the Government of India’s directive, the Dehradun zone of the Bank of India (BOI) organised a ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally a day ahead of the 79th Independence Day on Thursday. Senior bank officials said that the rally had been taken out to raise collective awareness of the importance of the geographical unity of the country and to inspire people to celebrate the I-Day with gaiety. All the officers and staff members aside from some common people participated in the rally while holding the national tricolours.
The deputy zonal manager, Bhanu Pratap Singh Nabyal led the rally. In his address, he said that the rally was a tribute paid by his bank to the nation’s unity and integrity a day ahead of the 79th Independence Day.
