Ganesh Joshi holds review meeting with MDDA, stresses on speedy completion of pending works

In Dehradun news today, the State minister Ganesh Joshi held a review meeting with the MDDA officers regarding the MDDA-initiated developmental projects now in progress in Mussoorie Assembly constituency limits.

The minister asked the officers concerned to ensure that the street lights are installed across the constituency at the earliest. He also stressed on preparing plan for installation of solar lights. He asked the officers to make sure that the tendering process for car parking facility to be established in Zero Point in Mussoorie is completed in 15 days. Joshi also asked the officers to earmark land at the earliest to house wedding zone in Mussoorie.

Stressing that Mussoorie is a popular tourist destination, he said that the hill station should have enough number of toilets. Besides, its beautification is a must, he said. He also gave instruction for renovating the town hall and for speeding of all pending works. Also, he told the MDDA secretary to take stern action against encroachment of government lands.

Among those present at the meeting were secretary MDDA Mohan Singh Barnia, executive engineer MDDA Sunil Kumar and assistant engineer P P Semwal.
