The result of the Undergraduate/Postgraduate Entrance Examination 2026 conducted by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar has been declared on Saturday. Candidates who appeared in these examinations can check their result by visiting the university’s admission portal www.gbpuat.org.in .
Informing this, the controller of examinations at the university, A K Upadhyay said that the entrance examination had been held on June 7 for UG and MCA programmes and on June 6 for Postgraduate and PhD programmes at various centres set up across Uttarakhand. A total of 7358 students appeared in the UG examination, 867 in the PG examination, 124 in the MCA examination and 436 in the PhD examination for various programmes.
Sharing more details, he said that among the students who passed the UG examination, Vasudev Krishna Pathak of Haridwar, Md Kaif of Rampur and Neelam Belwal of Nainital secured the first, second and third rank, respectively. Among the students who passed the post-graduation examination, Mansi Joshi of Rudrapur, Pratibha Nagarkoti of Haldwani and Vivek Sharma of Haryana secured the first, second and third rank, respectively. Among the students who passed the MCA examination, Priyansh Bhardwal of Bareilly, Gaurav Joshi of Pithoragarh and Kanika Tiwari of Kashipur secured first, second and third rank, respectively.
While congratulating the successful candidates, the vice- chancellor, Shivendra Kumar Kashyap, said that the university has ensured a quality-based, transparent admission process. “This year, the number of candidates appearing for the exams saw a significant increase,” he added.
