GBPUAT ranked 73rd among leading universities in Asia

The GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) has been ranked 73rd in the QS top Asian universities category. Vice chancellor of the university Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that 856 universities across Asia, including 148 Indian universities and institutions, participated in the ranking exercise. GBPUAT is the first agricultural university in India to lead in this category, followed by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the faculty and scientists for this achievement and expressed his desire to take the university to greater heights in the future. The university’s director of communications JP Jaiswal stated that the university’s ranking has improved significantly, from 361st in the QS ranking in 2021-22 to the 73rd position in 2022-23. He attributed this success to the tenure of the vice chancellor so far.
