The vice chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Manmohan Singh Chauhan met the director general of Indian Council of Agricultural Research and secretary of department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), M L Jat on Monday. Important issues related to All India Coordinated Research Projects and Krishi Vigyan Kendras are learnt to have figured in the meeting.
As per the university sources, Jat assured the VC that these issues would be resolved soon and the university would be provided full support in academic, research and extension work. Also, Jat appreciated the contribution made by the university in academic, research and extension work and congratulated it on securing 209th position in the QS World University Rankings.
