Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal has said that the State government should resolve the justified demands of the Nursing Ekta Manch (NEM). The PCC president visited the site where the members of the NEM are holding a protest on Tuesday.
Expressing his support to the protesting nursing graduates, Godiyal said, “It is extremely worrying that for more than 35 hours, Mahila Congress president Jyoti Rautela and members of NEM are holding protest at the top of the overhead water tank at Parade Ground, yet the government has not yet reached out to them”. He said that the insensitive government should listen to the voice of the nursing candidates without any further delay.
Congress leaders Rajiv Mehrishi, Rajendra Shah, Pradeep Thapliyal, Jagdish Dhiman and others accompanied the PCC president.
