Governor reviews technological innovation projects

Governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh reviewed various ongoing projects related to technological innovations at Raj Bhawan on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that today no sector is untouched by technology and therefore, technological participation is essential for inclusive and sustainable development. He said that with the recent launch of the Uttarakhand AI Mission-2025, the State has taken significant steps towards fulfilling public aspirations and goals by adopting modern technology
In the meeting the governor was informed about the progress of new applications being integrated into the ‘Governor’s Digital Hub and the development of various portals. The Governor directed the officials to ensure timely completion of all IT projects. He averred that stated that a powerful system should be build for a self-reliant India through indigenous technology, innovation, start-ups and entrepreneurship. He added that the Raj Bhavan’s objective is to provide new impetus to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India campaign by integrating innovative technology and youth power. Additional secretary Reena Joshi and others attended the meeting.
