In latest news from Uttarakhand, the district magistrate Haridwar Karmendra Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected mayor Kiran Jaiswal at a programme held at Rishikul Maidan. The mayor later administered the same to the newly elected councillors of the Haridwar municipal corporation. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were the former minister and MLA Madan Kaushik, Ranipur MLA Adesh Chauhan and former mayor Manoj Garg.
