In latest news from Uttarakhand, another son of Uttarakhand working for the Bengal Engineering under the Indian Army died in the line of duty in Leh. The 31-year-old havildar Vasudev Singh who hailed from Sarkot village under Gairsain block of Chamoli district had been in the Indian Army for the past 13 years. Army sources said that he had died while engaged in construction work. He is survived by his parents, wife and two sons aged six and two years
His moral remains arrived in his village and were cremated with full honours.
