Health centre staff unpaid for 3 months, commissioner orders payment

Taking prompt cognisance of the non-payment of salaries for the employees of a company working at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Haldwani, the Kumaon commissioner and secretary to the chief minister Deepak Rawat directed the Haldwani municipal commissioner to take immediately ensure that all employees receive their pending salaries. Furthermore, the health centre in Kusumkhera has been closed.
In a complaint letter to Rawat, the employees stated that despite their dedicated service at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, they have remained unpaid for three months since April. They further alleged that they are being harassed with threats of dismissal and dire consequences for demanding their salaries. The affected employees include 10 doctors, 10 pharmacists, 10 staff nurses, 10 MPWs and 10 sanitation workers.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, Rawat told the municipal commissioner to take necessary action, including paying the pending salaries of all affected employees and reopening the closed centre.
