Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasised the importance of guidance from saints and sages for the all-round development of the State. He said this during a courtesy visit to Padma Bhushan awardee Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Rishikesh on Wednesday.
During their meeting, they discussed various topics related to social harmony and spiritual awareness. CM said that the Art of Living organisation, founded by Shankar, plays a vital role in promoting peace, Yoga and human values worldwide. He said that Shankar’s guidance is infusing positive energy into society, which is particularly inspiring for a spiritually rich State like Uttarakhand.
Shankar blessed the CM and expressed his wishes for the State’s progress and prosperity. He highlighted that Uttarakhand’s spiritual heritage and natural beauty give it a unique identity on the global stage and he stressed the necessity of collective efforts to further enhance this identity.
