A tiger in the Corbett national park which had been injured in a fight with another tiger died during treatment at the Dhela rescue centre. Veterinarians treating the injured male tiger aged about six to seven years said that it appeared as if he had been injured in a fight with another tiger. The tiger died late on Monday evening during treatment. After an autopsy, the tiger’s body was cremated as per National Tiger Conservation Authority guidelines.
