Less than three weeks after the Indian shooting legend Jaspal Rana died an untimely death, his mother, Shyama Devi passed away in a hospital in Delhi on Sunday after a prolonged illness, plunging the family in another tragedy. Significantly, she died on the same day his legendary son was born-June 28.
Her mortal remains were consigned to flames on Monday at a burning ghat at Chilamu Nainbag, their native village, on the bank of the river Yamuna. A large number of people attended the last rites performed by her youngest son Subhash Rana and Jaspal Rana’s son Yuvraj Singh Rana.
