Joshi conducts surprise inspection of UPNL office

The Soldier Welfare minister Ganesh Joshi conducted a surprise inspection of the head office of the Uttarakhand Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited (UPNL) on Monday. In his visit the minister inspected the attendance register, file management system, grievance redressal system and the service delivery system of the UPNL.
Joshi directed the officers that they should ensure that every person visiting the office should get respect and time bound services. He said that the objective of the UPNL is to link ex-servicemen and their family members with employment and this objective should be implemented with dedication and transparency.
Joshi also inspected some documents and files and directed the officers to refrain from undue delay in file clearance and help in making the system of the office simple and effective.
He also visited the handloom store located near the UPNL office and appreciated the products prepared by Veer Naris.
The managing director of UPNL Brigadier (retd) JSN Bisht and other officers accompanied the minister.
