Justice Guhanathan Narendar takes oath as CJ of U’khand

In latest news from Doon, the Andhra Pradesh High Court judge Justice Guhanathan Narendar took oath as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday. Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit Singh administered the oath at an event held at Raj Bhawan. Notably, President Droupadi Murmu had appointed him as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court on December 23. He succeeds Justice Ritu Bahri who retired.
Born on January 10, 1964, Justice Narendar served as a judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court and Karnataka High Court. He had
enrolled as an advocate in 1989 in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.
