The renowned singer Kailash Kher visited Kedarnath Dham and had darshan of Lord Kedarnath on Thursday. Later, he praised the arrangements made for the pilgrims amid the harsh conditions of the high Himalayan region. He offered special prayers. Upon his arrival at the shrine, he was welcomed by the district administration officers and members of the temple committee among others.
He said, “Despite such a large number of pilgrims, the way the entire Yatra is being conducted in an organised, safe, and smooth manner is truly commendable.”
Sharing his experience after the darshan, he said that upon stepping into this holy town, he felt a deep sense of peace and renewed energy. “Despite the adverse conditions, the coordination among the administration, police and pilgrimage priests is exemplary, making this pilgrimage a success,” he commented.
