In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Vedpathi of Kedarnath dham Mrityunjay Hiremath passed away at the age of 31 years. A pall of gloom descended on Kedarhnath on receipt of the news of his untimely demise. The Badri-Kedar Temple Committee (BKTC) functionaries and members of religious fraternity deeply mourned the death of the young ascetic.
