KSB Limited, Kotdwar-based manufacturer of water pumps, installed their pump sets under Vidhayak Nidhi Yojana in Kotdwar of Pauri district. The senior staffers of the company said that being concerned over the frequent interruption in drinking water supply in the town, the Kotdwar MLA Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, who is also the speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, had met Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan officers and stated that the people had been reeling under the erratic drinking water supply due to the malfunctioning of the borewell pumps installed by Jal Sansthan. To ensure uninterrupted community water supply to the urban and adjoining areas of Kotdwar, she and Jal Sansthan had decided to replace the existing pump sets with KSB pump sets under Vidhayak Nidhi Fund 2022-23, the KSB Limited’s staffers said.
The inauguration was held in the presence of Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Pauri district magistrate Ashish Chauhan and executive engineer of Jal Sansthan, Abhishek Kumar. Speaking on the pump-installation in Kotdwar, the vice- president, sales and marketing, KSB Limited Farrokh Bhathena said that his company is committed to offering innovative and energy-efficient water solutions to meet the changing needs of the people across India. “We are confident that KSB pump sets will ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply for the people of Kotdwar,” he added.
