The Earth Day was celebrated in the Geography department of Kumaun University‘s DSB campus in which the department organised several competitions as well as a plantation and cleanliness drive. Ten saplings were planted in the campus by the department. The speech competition, poetry competition, poster making and quiz competition were organised. The winners were awarded certificates.
On this occasion, the campus director Prof Neeta Bora Sharma along with a host of professors was present.
